Iron isn’t the only metal found in Earth’s interior. I would think that heavier metals like Uranium and lead are represented as well as all the others, gold, silver, platinum, etc.

Iron would be lighter than these metals and could ‘float’ on top of them, possibly moving around like a bubble on a lake........................

What happens if the Earth’s interior continues to heat up due to nuclear and tidal forces. When and how would excess heating dissipate?

There’s probably a Pacific Ocean of gold under all that iron, resting on top another one of Uranium.

“Iron would be lighter than these metals and could ‘float’ on top of them, “

hint: How much would you ‘weigh’ at the center of the earth?

Well, the core should be sorted by density, so the molten iron core could be surrounding smaller cores of denser metals. I think it’s just speculated that iron is so much more prevalent than most of the other elements that it is the primary component of the whole inner core.
