People will think it’s for their benefit. It won’t be. It’s the ultimate power and control over the masses. It was predicted a couple thousand years ago.

What could possibly go wrong?

According to Elon Musk of NeuroLink: "... it "could extend range of hearing beyond normal frequencies" and even allow people to stream music directly to their brains.

Ever have a problem thinking about a pop rhythm and not being able to get it out of your head? Now imagine something going wrong, and hearing for real, a tune at full blast in your head, repeatedly without being able to shut it off! That's progress!

Glitchy Do-Re-Mi song streamed to your head while thinking of "The Sound of Music" movie:

Dough, the stuff that buys me beer.
Ray, the guy who brings me beer.
Me, the guy who drinks the beer.
Far, a long way to get beer.
So, I'll have another beer.
La, I'll have another beer.
Tea, no thanks I'm having beer.
That will bring us back to doh!

I’m sure the “enhanced” class of humans will be very tolerant of the muggles.

"Ya the Democrats already use Brain Implants"

For the record, what happens to people who support the democrats can never be described as a "brain implant", it's called a lobotomy.
