I have a doctor acquaintance who has a lot of teachers as patients.
She says they’re talking about drawing up wills; not a word about how to keep the kids safe, just overblown paranoia about how THEY’LL do.

I’m old enough to have been brought up with the idea that teaching was a vocation.

Now, I’m not so sure. In fact, how often do you even encounter the word “vocation” in any context these days.
