People are not misinformed as much as many people simply DO NOT CARE about politics. They do not pay attention to current events. They do not watch the news.
They are more concerned about what to make for dinner. Whether the kids are going to go to school this year. How the Yankees did last night. What they need to get done at their job.
They are busy. They are trying to make a living. Pay the bills. They do not have a lot of time to read the internet.
These are the people that the drive by media can potentially sway their vote. They hear a soundbite and form an opinion from that.
Most people are not analytical personality types. If they took the time to become informed, they would become conservatives.
I think that’s more the over 50 crowd, as the folks I know under that age just do not watch news stations.
Alternative news isn’t alternative to them. It is to us because we are older.
BUT you are right with the older crowd and we NEED the older crowd.
They, for the vast majority, still get their news from the msm outlets. and that’s bad.
Lastly, these people are busy but they find time to watch 3 hours of garbage in the evening :)
