We know Syria will never be one. Damascus WILL be made into a parking lot.
Actually the Alawite Assad would be smart to make peace with Israel in exchange for Israeli help in reasserting control over the Muslim majority in Syria. Of course the Golan would be an issue.
Once Damascus becomes a radioactive sand dune, that will be the cue for the massive Ezekiel 38 coalition.
Assad will perish in that incident - whoever instigates it.
I’m not convinced Israel will be the reason for Isaiah 17:1.
