Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, lashed out at Fox News Channel star Tucker Carlson Friday, appearing to suggest the primetime host is to blame for several death threats.
“I flip around the channels at night, which I probably shouldn’t. And I found this guy — you know this guy, Tucker Carlson? You heard of him?” The Washington Post’s Geoff Edgers asked Fauci in a Friday interview.

First, ANYONE who is misinformed enough to choose Fauci to be their personal physician would be in for a very rude awakening. The MD after his name means very little at this point. He's 89.9% self-promoting bureaucrat, 9% ideologue, and maybe 1% scientist. The 0.1% I left open is for what's left of him being an MD.
So, what value do his opinions actually have? When he speaks of Tucker Carlson he is speaking as a citizen with an ideological bias. It's no different than having Taylor Swift opine on something.

I say this sincerely: Tucker needs to tread carefully if he wants to keep his show. My sense is that criticizing Fauci too much risks getting you in trouble, or a “time out” from social media at the least
