You are correct, most of the elected GOP want Trump gone as much as the Democrats do.
He has disrupted the biggest bipartisan project of the last 30 years, turning the USA into North Mexico.
What moderate democrats? There is no such animal at this point in history, at least not enough of them to make a difference. Obama represented the Marxist takeover of the Democrat Party, and I have no doubt that he and ValJar the Evil are running the Democrat sh*t show taking place in Democrat-run cities.
But, like you said, other than Trump and a small number of elected officials, where is the GOP? Most of them are mute, which has been their default position since 2006 or so.
