Mainstream media does some pretty bad things, but this may be the worst suppression of news I've seen in my life.
Agenda-driven media suppression of 5-yr-old Cannon Hinnant's murder is absolutely disgusting
The young boy was riding his bicycle with his two sisters when he went onto a neighbor’s lawn. That neighbor, Darius N. Sessoms, 25, allegedly walked up to the child and shot him in the head with a firearm. He is in custody. This is big news that goes beyond local coverage. At least it should.
It’s being picked up around the world by major news outlets like The Independent in the United Kingdom. But in the United States where it happened, the big mainstream media outlets other than Fox News are completely ignoring it.
Why? Because Hinnant was a young Caucasian boy and his suspected murderer is Black. If the situation were different and a Black boy was killed by a Caucasian man, this would be the biggest story across the board on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, NY Times, Washington Post, and all the other leftist mainstream media rags. Instead, we’re hearing a deafening silence. None of them have even mentioned Cannon Hinnant’s name other than in local affiliate broadcasts.

This is 100% about the Black Lives Matter movement. They won’t report it just like they won’t report murders in Chicago that are predominantly committed against Black men by Black men. It’s why they wont’ report violence in leftist cities like Portland or Seattle because it’s violence in the name of Black Lives Matter; to mainstream media, they’re just “mostly peaceful protesters.” They have an agenda that combines their allegiance to the Democratic Party and their embrace of the Neo-Marxist push by Black Lives Matter.

Personally I get very angry when I contemplate that President Trump hasn’t mentioned Cannon or that he doesn’t dwell on BLM. What they truly are and specifically what they do.
He could have a separate press conference every day talking about BLM, which is the real virus in this country.
Like he had Fauci and Birx, there are many brilliant black minds like Candace Owens who should be a part of his adminstration speaking at his press conferences exposing this evil EVERYDAY.
This is low hanging fruit just being ignored as it ravages the country. And it’s being largely ignored by Trump. It is absolutely baffling.

Yes, of course it would. There is a reason the media has been called the "Fourth Estate". An informed public, armed with the TRUTH, is essential to the survival of an open society such as ours. Most people divide their days between work, family, and dealing with the essentials of daily living. There is little time to contemplate the world and wax philosophical. This makes them susceptible to lies, and when the media lies, even if just by omission, it has a very destructive effect on society.
This story isn't about race, per se. It's about why race ISN'T the issue. It's about why characterizing white people and 'average Americans' as privileged people who have suppressed 'people of color', while characterizing 'people of color' as uniformly 'put upon' victims of white racism is horribly wrong and in and of itself horribly racist.
In the real world people aren't divided into Scrooges and Tiny Tims. No group has all the virtue, and another all the guilt. When the media promotes this narrative, and ignores stories that show that all groups can be guilty, they are disseminating the divisive kindling that will ignite the fire that burns our entire way of life.
They are shameful, at best.
