“Harris is the daughter of immigrants. Her father (from Jamaica) and her mother (from India) were not citizens at the time of her birth in 1964.”

That citizenship of her parents has nothing to do with her eligibility.

Kamala's immigrants parents.... father (Jamaican), mother (Indian), were not US citizens at the time of her birth in 1964 in Oakland, Calif.

Ergo, Kamala is an "anchor baby:" A child born to a noncitizen mother in a country when the child's birthplace is thought
to have been chosen for the specific purpose of improving the mother's......and/or other relatives'.....chances of securing eventual citizenship.

======================================

When did her parent become citizens?

Was her birth used in the parental citizenship quest?

How many of Kamala's relatives secured citizenship after her birth?

"Therefore every person born within the United States, its territories or districts, whether the parents are citizens or aliens, is a natural born citizen in the sense of the Constitution, and entitled to all the rights and privileges appertaining to that capacity."-- William Rawle, A View of the Constitution of the United States of America (1829).

By the pre 2008 rules she would be ineligible. She is NOT Natural Born. However the Congress redacted the Constitution to eliminate that clause when they declared that McCain and Obama were Natural Born Citizens. Under that criterion anyone on earth is eligible to be President of the USA if he has attained the age of 35. If the Democrats come up with a candidate they desire who is only 29, the Congress will redact the age clause, too. It is an unorthodox method for changing the Constitution but it has been accepted and supported by the entire political establishment and the great majority of the population.

Just curious, could you please post the Supreme Court decision which decisively defines a "natural born citizen" who is eligible or ineligible to run for the presidency?

Thanks, that would put an end to a lot of useless controversy around here about who can or who can't run for president........

Tumulty misspelled "flushed that lying, purple-lipped Halfrican turd down the porcelain throne"...

“Harris is the daughter of immigrants. Her father (from Jamaica) and her mother (from India) were not citizens at the time of her birth in 1964.”

JamIndian, or JamCanIndian.
