Many Americans seem to have understandably concluded that Joe Biden has dementia based on his very public displays of confusion, aphasia, and incoherence. But the question we should actually be asking is What is going on with Joe out of public view?
Like many Americans who have cared for parents with dementia, I witnessed my father’s decline firsthand and, sadly, Joe Biden is presenting exactly as my father did in the early stages -- right down to the vacant look in his eyes. While I am neither doctor nor expert, physicians and other medical professionals rely heavily on caregiver observations because they monitor the disease’s progression 24/7 over the long haul, and can add valuable input that is not always obvious at an appointment or measurable with a cognitive test. I am relying on my experience as my father’s caregiver, corroborated by medical professionals, health consultants, literature, research, and the shared experiences of others. Of course, not every dementia victim will experience every symptom, but the commonalities are significant.
As the disease grabs hold of one’s faculties, men like Biden and my father continue to view themselves as experienced executives -- in control, commanding, and coherent; holding court as the family patriarch; the old dude who’s seen it all. They don’t doubt their ability to express complex ideas with the right words. And so, they conduct business as usual and, for the most part, things go fine until they stammer over a word, get frustrated, then confused, and either babble their way out or shut down. It isn’t long before lost words, forgotten names, and elusive ideas are replaced by whatchamacallit, whosimajig, whatshername, and the thing.

Are the American people being prepared for their first female president? Are those paying attention seeing what is happening with Joe? Aren’t we being groomed to except his mental failure now and to except Kamala as our president?
After four years, American Dims knew more about Obama, yet still gave him another four years.
Medication. Medication can stave off the effects of dementia- for a time. It did with my mother until two strokes did her in. But the damage is irreversible and the decline can be rapid.
In Joe’s case the decline has been shockingly rapid.
He’s exactly as so many elderly people were in the nursing homes I worked in and he resembles my late mother in her final days.
I have NO sympathy for Joe Biden. I hate him. He’s a criminally corrupted grifting dirtbag, a liar and a serial sexual pervert. I hope to God he suffers a stroke and lingers in pain. He deserves it.
Some of his ramblings would be funny if they weren’t indicative of a horrible condition, one that is dangerous in public life.
Yep...took family member to her friends gathering, (all aware of her problem). it went very well. However, when eating she wasn’t aware of what she was eating and at times that she was eating. Easy enough for others to not notice but I certainly did. Time then to go I walked up to her and she was startled and unsure of who I was.
At any rate it’s a terrible and abusive thing they’re even putting Joe out there the few times he’s even seen.

The article should have noted that Jill Biden’s recent book was dedicated to Edith Wilson who took over the presidency after her husband had a stroke.
The historic truth is that Wilson didn't suffer a stroke, but rather he had a cognitive decline due to tertiary syphilis (neurosyphilis).

I won't try to vouch for confidence but that is absolutely the plan. Consider how seductive the idea is for a political staff full of power junkies. You have a puppet too out of it to move on his own without somebody tugging on the strings, who is a perfect fall guy if it all goes wrong. The real problem will happen when Harris's team starts salivating over power that Joe's team doesn't want to give up. Look for defections in that case. Anyone who used to watch the power flux in the old Soviet government has seen this countless times before.
I have come to the conclusion that it doesn’t matter what Bedridden Biden says, the MSM got his back no matter what.
