No, I am consistent in my thoughts. Note: I did not declare the police totally blameless. I merely said I cannot fault them totally. I also said they deserve some kind of punishment, for what I saw was compliance. However, compliance can quickly turn the other way, though I saw no evidence that was where it was heading.

Police are working blind when they enter into what has been reported as a violent domestic dispute. Then when one shows up at the door with a gun, the police expect the worse, because they don't know what the reality is or will be. That is why I don't totally blame the police. It's a thankless job with low pay in many places.

There was a distinct pause between the deceased kneeling and the fatal barrage. His partner also lied to cover his partner.

They are both culpable in murder. They are both totally at-fault.
