CA consumes more power than all but 3 nations.
We like our AC and it’s been between 100 and 114deg depending where in the state you are. In my town it was 108 with 21% humidity. No wind.
That means we need some nukes!
CA load at 6 pm was 47 gigawatts.
Each nuke plant adds about 1 gigawatt.
