RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County man says he's the target of hate mail because of his support for President Donald Trump.
Joe Nodine received an unsigned letter Wednesday comparing the Trump sign in his yard to a swastika and likening him and other Trump supporters to members of the Ku Klux Klan.
Nodine, who also flies a Trump flag outside his front door, said he allowed the local Trump re-election campaign to put a large sign supporting the president in his front yard along Strickland Road.
"Our boys from Philly do not like or tolerate Klansmen who support an impeached, corrupt adulterer and treacherous conman responsible for the death of 150,000 Americans," the letter said in an apparent reference to the coronavirus pandemic. "On behalf of all North Raleigh residents, we demand that you remove that disgusting Nazi sign, or it will be done for you."
The letter was in a manila envelope addressed "To the resident" that also included anti-Trump political cartoons and editorials.

And it would not be surprising to have poison ivy growing all over those signs.

Put an ink bomb on it. If someone tries to remove any of it, they will be sprayed with ink that will take a huge amount of scrubbing to take off if they can. And if they are a neighbor, they will be easy to find. People like this are too stupid to take ruined clothes somewhere else to dispose of. And the dripping ink will leave a trail.

What I find extremely funny is that the moron who wrote the letter was actually describing former president BJ Clinton. Impeached, adulterer and member of the party of the clan. Not surprising that products of our educational systems don’t know anything about the political affiliation of slave owners, segregationists and the Klan, in other words their morons!
That;s just it. I’ve known all, well most, of my neighbors for 16 years. They’re pretty much conservative, none loons.
I’ve chalked it up to bored teenagers or the incredible amount of, ahem, Mexican roofers in our neighborhood fixing roofs and siding from last years storm damage. They are everywhere! They seem too busy to give a chit about the sign though. Those guys work their butts off. It was just really weird given the area.
Don’t know either, but there are Special Forces units at Ft. Bragg, NC.
We were cautioned that our place could be egged, due to multiple signs.
Or maybe hire a private investigator who can trace the materials???
Mr. Nodine should go to the court and get a “Writ of Mandamus” forcing the sheriff to do his duty to investigate the blatant threat.
If the sheriff fails to do this, sue him for “dereliction of duty”. That will “Wake County” him up.
The harasser of the Trump supporter is in need of a psychiatric intervention. He is hallucination things about President Trump. It is the result of living in his mother’s basement too long.
