'It's an open question, and one I think Harris should answer so the American people know for sure she is eligible,' Ellis told ABC News.

And Harris will say, "Of course I'm a natural-born citizen. The 14th Amendment says so."

Then what? Without a definitive decision by the courts then it's just the same kind of birther claims that was tried against Obama. How'd that work out?

The 14th amendment was incorporated to settle the question of former slaves and their citizenship, not to give rights to citizens of other countries. But of course, that doesn’t matter either. No one follows the constitution anyway.

“Without a definitive decision by the courts...”

Uhh...isn’t that what Trump is about to do? Claim she’s ineligible, hack his way through judicial cowardice until he gets to the U.S. Supreme Court, and ask the good Justices to stop “evading” that issue as Justice Thomas has admitted to, and finally give us a “definitive decision” before election day?
