My Army Captain Son and his officer friends are all Trump Supporters. We just had a bunch over for a cook-out. [No Masks or Social Distancing] - Even the Officers wives were all for Trump.

I determined almost 45 years ago when I was on acttive duty, that almost all field grade (O-4) and above (and more than a few junior officers) were office politicians who cared more about their careers than accomplishing the mission, or the welfare of their people.

I would start at O-3 and add exceptions..
The best officers I had contact with, were prior enlisted (1 was Branch Officer (O-4), and the other was Wing Officer (O-6), both prior enlisted, and they listened to the ground troops before they went before the worthless bureaucraps.
