Joe Biden's campaign said Wednesday that it raised $26 million in the 24 hours after Biden announced Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) as his running mate.

"I have no doubt that I picked the right person to join me as the next vice president of the United States of America, and that's Sen. Kamala Harris," Biden said in Wilmington, Del., as he appeared with Harris for the first time publicly since the announcement.

"And it seems Americans all across this nation, at least at the outset here, agree with me," the presumptive Democratic nominee continued.

"Yesterday we had our best grassroots fundraising day of the campaign, more than double our previous record, and in doing so we set a single-day record for online political fundraising. I think I know why," he added.

Biden campaign spokesman TJ Ducklo tweeted that the fundraising haul included $150,000 from first-time contributors.

Cooperate business is mostly what conservatives support. That’s not a 2-way highway at all though.

they have that on their side, but we have God on ours and He gives us the ability to do the right thing: share Jesus (and vote and leave the results to Him)

I wouldn’t want to bet either way.

I’m hoping they are vastly underestimating how many people will vote for Trump because they have alienated so many people themselves, kind of like they did in 2016.

But in my estimation, Trump will have to get about a 33% (or better) Popular vote advantage in every Republican and swing district to even have a hope of overcoming the cheating.

I live in one of those traditionally large majority Republican districts who had the election for their Congressional Representative in 2018 stolen by corrupt vote counters in one city. It was OBVIOUSLY stolen, yet the candidate and the State Republican Party didn’t even bother to question the results.

Lets just say I’m very pessimistic about the outcome of this election, even though it SHOULD make the Mondale / Ferraro ticket Vs Reagan look like a close race.

I agree, it’s going to be a tough election. The outlook now is not terribly good.

The contributions were staged to coincide with the VP pick to try and jump start Biden’s campaign. Check the contributions next week

Money flushed down the crapper.

Kankles blew through and wasted $1.5 BILLION on her wretched failed campaign. Trump kicked her sorry fat @ss off the electroral map, spending half that amount of money.

The Trump campaign is raising tons of money—plus, they actually know how to manage money, not waste it like those stupid @sshole Rats do.

Democrat Pockets run very deep. And I can’t wait to watch them WASTE their money on these two losers. :)

That’s an interesting thought. I live in the liberal north east and can count on one hand the number of Joe Biden signs I have seen. There is no support for Joe Biden there’s simply a lot of leftists who don’t like trump. I think they may be onto something where they are just running by and get him out of the way in the try for a more serious rational candidate in 2024

“Joe Biden’s campaign said Wednesday that it raised $26 million in the 24 hours after Biden announced Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) as his running mate. ... Biden campaign spokesman TJ Ducklo tweeted that the fundraising haul included $150,000 from first-time contributors.”

Money raised from new contributors was 0.58% of the total? If my math is right, it doesn’t sound like Harris is exciting many new contributors.

So $25,850,000 was from people who had already given? And this is a “win” exactly why? They stacked the deck with programmed donations.

Yeah, what that says to me is zero enthusiasm outside of the suckers who give $10 or $20 every time the campaign sends out an email.

I thought they said 150,000 new CONTRIBUTORS, not $150,000 from new Contributors. Either way, doesn’t matter. Trump has more money, and a better organization and ground game.

Is there anything honest or sincere that comes from Democrats/Socialists?

Everything seems to be an orchestrated, fake surprise, dishonest toss at American ethics. They make fake polls, they commit systemic fraud in voting, they use government workers to enforce their ideology...etc.

I’d like to know how many donors were involved. It was probably 26 millionaires.
