President Trump holds a News Conference at 5:30PM EDT on 8/12/2020.
His proposal to get rid of the payroll tax is huge! Even people who i work with are not Trump fans are enthusiastic about this payroll tax holiday. And if this gets permanently removed, could sway some away from the Dems!
Time will tell, but when people have been hit hard in the pocketbooks, this could move some from the Dem rolls!

And another point to all those complaining about his low energy tone...we have NO idea what is going on behind the scenes. I’m sure he wants to jump into an arena tomorrow for a yuge rally but the security issue is more serious than ever before.

Everyone has gone on and on about social security going under by 2030, so he is just making sure people are secure now instead of waiting. The politicians have been robbing that fund for generations, they will just have to pay it back sooner.

I just heard POTUS will be visiting several battleground states, while the RAT “Convention” is taking place.
Right. He would do a rally tomorrow if he could. But he’s also getting obstacles from venues worried about Covid-19.
Removing the payroll tax does not mean removing the SS tax they are two entirely different deductions!! The government will have to learn to budget without ALL of this quarterly money coming in!!!

AMEN! to that. The frequent rallies energized him, and us. (WuFlu - all part of the RATs’ plan to sabotage his campaign.)

That’s good. He’s gotta get out there, no mask, and get some of the energy going again. I’m sure it’s very hard; I wish Pence were a little more energetic and could take some of this on, but he’s not, so Trump has got to do it by himself. And of course the RINO mayors and governors aren’t doing anything to help his public appearances.

Payroll tax is social secuity and Medicare. The others are income taxes. Anyone who works has payroll taxes withheld no matter what. Income tax is based on gross less your dependents. Payroll tax is based on gross period.
I wish he could hold a rally in a red state/area venue.
Even if it were outdoor, or a large arena with proper “plandemic” distancing.
I watched the end of the news conference.....including the presstitutes questions. Thought he was fed up with their inane questions except for one that he said was a good question. Did not think he was tired sounding - just tired of the crap.
