There might be a chance to save things if he gets rid of Fauci now and replaces him with somebody sane and not a hard-core totalitarian Dem. The only thing that is probably reducing people’s enthusiasm about Trump is the fact that he let Fauci get away with all this and even seemed to be supporting him.
So here’s hoping about Dr. Scott Atlas’ appearance tonight.
I’m particularly hoping Atlas can influence states, counties, and districts to reopen schools. This seems Trump’s theme of the day. Finally the US is realizing schools are reopening in the “fall”—fall is here! My kids’ schools are starting only remote TOMORROW and with no end plan in sight.
What will happen to US kids this fall if they don’t reopen is nothing short of criminal. The US under “Fauci” clearly doesn’t care about or prioritize children or education. Even Trump seems to primarily want schools to reopen for the babysitting and for the economy (VERY WORTHY GOALS! and for national security reasons which is very valid), but keeping schools and sports closed indefinitely (as CA —millions of kids!—is doing) is horrible for children’s emotional, social, and educational needs.
