I doubt any college football is played this year. SEC and ACC will follow suit. Regardless of your stance, the idea of a public institution blazing trails that involve risk simply isn’t workable.

I gotta disagree. It is all about the $$$$. If the SEC cancels, the schools won’t make the money off the ticket sales and football does fund a lot of other parts of the college. Plus, a whole lot of businesses that make money off the season will not make that money. They won’t have money to donate, and again, the school loses revenue.

Now, if all the leagues BUT the SEC cancel, they can charge pretty much what they want for TV rights and tickets. Being the only game in town will bring in bunches of revenue.

Y’all go ahead and cancel.
