Florida is full, don’t go there, I hear that its even sinking in some areas from to much weight.
I left in 1985 for Japan and have never looked back . Here , in “some ways “ , I feel like I am re-living USA 50’s .
These are New Yorkers fleeing in droves....

If you have any doubt what kind of Politics they will bring with them, just look at what the California Migrants have done and are still doing to the once Conservative City of Austin Texas.
They’re doing that to Charlotte. I work for banks. I know a few people in banking up there who are DYING to get transferred down here. Even taking the 20% haircut in salary the banks demand, their standard of living still rises dramatically.
The problem is this place is getting swamped with Leftist Yankees who vote for all the same crap that ruined where they came from. They even sheepishly laugh when you point out that the things they voted for back home (their utopia!) ruined it. Yet they keep right on voting for the same crap. Its amazing.
And they will if the people fleeing New York and other leftist hellholes vote in the same policies, in their new locations, that caused them to flee.
Absolutely! Move! But, don’t bring your NY politics, and attitude, with you!
...and the knowledge that it will only get worse, and quickly.
If they all migrate to, say, the east coast of Florida, it might tip over!

Will Rogers said, “Some men learn by reading, some learn by observation, and some just have to pee on the electric fence.” Those that leave NYC, then continue to vote Democrat in their new location definitely fall into Will’s last category. Unfortunately that category will be very large, and they will poison the well at their new location. They are simply stuck on stupid.

They are flocking to Atlanta and already turning it into a chithole. We are packing up and moving to the mountains as are many other southerners. We have had all the diversity we can stomach.
Yep, Texas doesn’t want them. We have enough already with Austin - quickly turning into a liberal hell hole, Houston - just dumped a lesbian ultra liberal mayor for a black ultra liberal mayor, and was already not a nice place to live...not to mention Dallas and little mexico, I mean San Antonio...

The fact that residents of NYC are RENTERS makes this exodus more likely to continue to happen. No worries about trying to sell their house.
