Well, he’s in the phone app, so all I can figure is that he’s saying, “Hey....um....you....well you know who you are...Did you know you can use these things to talk to people, and they don’t even need to be in the same room?...Crazy man!”

It is likely that the phone was used for audio and it didn’t matter which way he held it. More interested in the blurred out items on his desk.
Regarding the phone?
1) Harris on a zoom/facetime call with audio output set to the computer speakers.
2) Old Joe pointing the phone mic towards the computer so others on the phone could hear Harris.
Note, still scuzzy of MSM to hide the notes and blur the phone.
