It isn’t really banned in NY. You can take it in a hospital setting, just not out patient. Councilman Vallone took it in a hospital.
I hasten to add that most of Hydroxychloroquine’s success lies in PREVENTING people from being hospitalized, that’s why all successful doctors tell us to take the cocktail EARLY, within 5 days of positive diagnosis.
Vallone is one of those cases where it succeeded even AFTER hospitalization, but that is not what it is intended for.
