Because it was too late for a regular election, the replacement for Texas District 4 Congressman Ratcliffe was nominated yesterday, Saturday 8 August 2020, by the 144 voting GOP County and Precinct chairpersons of district 4.
Texas State Senator Pat Fallon is a USAF officer veteran, who "is committed to limited government, low taxes, religious liberty, personal responsibility, the 2nd Amendment, property rights, government transparency, and protecting life."
He has a consistent, strong Constitutional conservative voting record in the Texas Senate.

I was selected as Precinct Chair too late to be approved by the State Convention, so I was not one of the "magic 144" :-(
Our local (Atlanta, Cass County) Mayor, Travis Ransom -- an Army Reserve Counterintelligence CSM (a good conservative and personal friend) came in third with 16 votes.
Fallon won on the first ballot due to strong support from the (heavily populatd) portion of the Dallas Metroplex that is in District 4. And, US Senator Ted Cruz showing up to personally endorse him didn't hurt his support, either...
