Instead of the executive order on payroll, he should have shined the spotlight on their refusal to cooperate. Taxes are for house of reprobates to change laws..

"Instead of the executive order on payroll, he should have shined the spotlight on their refusal to cooperate. "

The fact that he issued the Executive Orders should tell people the Democrats refused to participate. He said he would be sued, but he was willing to take that chance to help working Americans. He highlighted the pet projects that the Democrats wanted to fund, which have nothing to do with COVID relief. He focused on the facts that Democrats aren't interested in helping the American people, but are more concerned about helping the cities and states that have been poorly governed by the Democrats. I don't know how much further he can shine the spotlight on their unwillingness to negotiate.

Yeah, and who would have reported it fairly.

Sorry bub. Republicans who now suddenly give a damn about spending and Constitutional process can pound sand.

Nobody gets that. Money in their pocket - or not - people will understand.

Shine the light for whom ? The MSM simply ignore or re-characterize anything like that. Taking this action is more difficult to ignore or recolor.

Deft move by POTUS and Dems on defense over it, with unwitting allies like Sasse, et. al.
