There’s probably been less than 20k unavoidable covid deaths. Even some of those are lifestyle/diet related. Obese, diabetes etc.
It will end and be replaced with something worse that will tighten down the screws on us even more. It’s a ratcheting process, probably already laid out in detailed plans. The sheeple have to be conditioned, one step at a time.

They case has been made repeatedly that obesity (from which springs diabetes Type 2), is directly caused by misinformation from government health sources and the ubiquity of both fast food and packaged snacks.
Besides spotlighting blame, the lockdowns severely limited the ability to obtain both fast food and the sugary/salty/high carb/high hydrogenated fat foods.
To balance that benefit, the Governors/Health bureaucrats limited the ability of people to exercise or even leave houses except to shop.
People had only the freedom to shop for food, if they had the money, and the opportunity to spend their prison time ingesting unhealthy foods.
The Governors are responsible for more than the inflated COVID deaths. They are complicit in the lifestyle-related comorbidities.

He won’t. I think the Democrats are stretching out these lockdowns so they can retake the presidency by ruining the economy, exaggerating deaths, and blaming Trump for it. Also, insisting on safe voting by mail so they can send in fraudulent votes. If Biden wins, I am thinking they will no longer have need for the fear mongering and will make themselves heroes by miraculously defeating the virus.
