A Democratic New York City Councilman says hydroxychloroquine saved his life after a near-fatal run-in with COVID-19 in March.
Paul Vallone, who represents northeast Queens, took the drug along with a standard flu Z-pack, and came back from the brink almost immediately.
“I couldn’t breathe, very weak, couldn’t get out of bed. My doctor prescribed it. My pharmacy had it. Took it that day and within two to three days I was able to breathe,” Vallone told The Post. “Within a week I was back on my feet.”

A great sympathy for this poor man. He will very soon be labeled as a “Political TRAITOR” due to his courageous relating of his wonderful recovery due to his taking of the evil drug touted by “equally evil” President Donald Trump.
We should wish him well and support him in his hour of need.
He’s a Democrat???? Didn’t he get the memo, that Hydroxychloroquine doesn’t work? didn’t he get the memo that because of its association with Trump, that we aren’t allowed to say anything positive about HCQ?????

He should had participated in a double blind clinical trial with placebo. Just to be safe, of course. As we all know, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Of course, maybe he would have been assigned the placebo and then he would have been REAL sorry.

Glad he got the HCQ treatment and is doing well.
His brother back in the spring touted the HCQ combination therapy and said “follow the money” with all the opposition.
Nice when Americans can place the lives of its citizens first.

My first symptoms were Saturday, August 1. Couldn’t get in for a test until Monday, August 3. Got the results today, Saturday August 8. Positive for SARS Covid 19
It’s been like a really bad cold with lots of runny nose, sneezing, some coughing and fatigue. It was only the first day that I had any fever.
I haven’t taken any medication except for benadryl. Day 8 and I’m starting to feel better.
