I listened to Levin and Beck for years. Glenn kindof went
sideways over those years, so I had tuned him out. Many
people hadn’t. Cruz was another guy who had a following.

So what did these brain trusts do with their massed fan
base?

They bashed Trump non-stop from the later part of 2015 right
up until weeks before the general election in 2016.

Cruz never really tried to help Trump. He made a couple of
appearances after the convention, at which he even refused
to endorse Trump over Clinton.

Three or four days before the election Cruz refused to say
the name Trump at one such appearance. What a guy!

Beck had fallen so far off my radar, I’m not sure if he
ever finally admitted he’d vote for Trump.

After trashing Trump for close to a year viciously, Levin
finally admitted he’d vote for him, begrudgingly.

Screw these assh_les. The prospect of Hillary Clinton
becoming president couldn’t budge them for months on end.

We talk about the electoral college spread, but it was a
lot closer than what most people think.

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by over 5 million votes.

Thank heaven for the Electoral College.

Let me ask you something. If someone you respect a lot
trashes a candidate so badly that you can’t stand the
person, do you go out and vote for them if that person
in the end says he’ll begrudgingly vote for them?

Being a person who comes here, and stays in tune with
things, I’d imagine you would. A lot of people don’t
have that connection to reality. They may listen to Mark’s
show and not feel the need to be involved more than that.

The question is, how many people stayed home and sat on
their hands in 2016, because these three assh_les had
blistered Trump for a year non-stop?

If we all had acted like there three did in 2016, Hillary
Clinton would be president today. We would have trashed
Trump to our family, friends, and associates non-stop.

If you think for one second, I’m going to pat Mark on the
back for anything, you’ve spent one second too long in the
land of delusion.

All three of these guys are dead to me. Ted is a major
opportunist. He’s an empty suit.

As I intimated, they are currying favor. With that they
can come down on the wrong side at any time, and lead
people astray. After 2016, we know that there is nothing
they wouldn’t do.

I only started listening to Levin (and talk radio) in 2016 due to my new long commute. I was suprised at how critical he was, and also schizophrenic. Some days he would trash him and other days he would praise some of Trump's positions. Levin hasn't changed other than supporting Trump because there's nobody else who can do what Trump has done. Levin still citicizes Trump when it is jjustified.

In short I think Levin is a bit of a blowhard, and worshiped Cruz when that was not jjustified. Then he glommed on to Trump when that was necessary. But Levin is also somewhat consistent when he critiques Trump. Levin also supports Trump and not just begrudgingly. He really does support him now.

I want to correct one factual error you made in your long post about Levin and Beck. Hillary Clinton got 2.87 million more votes than DJT, not “over 5 million.” Take out the fraud and illegal votes, and Trump probably won.

A lot of blue state Trump supporters will come out of the woodwork this time around to give him a popular vote victory as well as a comfortable Electoral College victory.

He was for Ted. Big deal. So was I.

He didn’t like Trumps tariffs. Neither did I.

He never “trashed” Trump. Was skeptical and so was I.

But once Trump clearly won the nomination he was on board. So was I.

Ted acted like losing Hillary. I was amazed.

But face reality...Trump had no conservatism in his past. That’s what we were worried about. We were wrong and both he and I admit it. Trump is the best conservative president since Reagan and Coolidge.

Levin 8s one of Trumps biggest supporters.
