In response to a video in which Oprah Winfrey encourages white people to admit they are racist, radio legend Rush Limbaugh pummeled the popular black author and former television host.
"This country is defined by people who came from nothing, like she did," Limbaugh said on his national broadcast Wednesday.
"How in the world did she do it with so much white privilege and so much racism? Who in the world screwed up and let The Oprah become a billionaire? Which one of you white people made that mistake? Was it one of the King brothers who was her first syndicator? Who was it? Somebody really goofed up big time allowing The Oprah to become a billionaire. And not just a billionaire but one of the most powerful people in the country."
Limbaugh was reacting to Winfrey's discussion with NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho on a recent episode of "The Oprah Conversation," as several white guests admitted their racism.

I am not a lawyer, nor do I play one on t.v., but...
I imagine that a majority of the tabloid articles are so impossibly ridiculous ("Portland Woman Reveals: The Ghost of Michael Jackson Fathered My Baby!") that only the hopelessly gullible give them more than a passing glance, and taking the respective tabloid to court would only "fan the flames" (the infamous "Streissand Effect").
Secondly, in such cases where a 48-pt headline screams some libelous claim on pg. 1, the main body of the article (which might consist of just two little paragraphs, buried back on pg. 8) will probably itself equivocate and/or backpedal a lot ("I was told by the doctors that I was barren, but after praying to a poster of Michael Jackson - made-up as a zombie, from his "Thriller" video - for a month, I was able to conceive!") and thus render the suit moot.
Thirdly, fourthly, fifthly... Just use your powers of reasoning, simple commonsense, and your imagination a little, will yuh?

Yes, “Spanking the Oprah” does sound like a bizarre sex practice.
But I do think the Oprah needs to be fully outed as to what she really thinks of white people.
I quit watching her because of her religious teachings. She is teaching a different gospel. But a lot of loved black people who were happy with America ,while acknowledging some need for growth in all of us. Then because of their color they switched sides, thinking to gain more benefits.
Like that black race car driver..while I would have rooted for him to win as much as another I now won’t. What he did was for his own personal gain, not the America he pretended to enjoy living in. These people are not trust worthy Americans and of their own choosing.

I've always felt that way about her too, without being able to put my finger on it or point to any specific behavior or anything she said.
