When I worked at the treatment center, my students (99% this population of dindunuffins) were constantly telling me how they and their families would rent out the luxury condos and hotels at Disney. These kids and their families had copious amounts of cash from their telephone fraud/drug dealing/baby food and foodstamp operations, parents would pick them up in Lexuses and BMWs every tax season... it was disgusting...and meanwhile, I was the rich racist because I was white...
The sad thing was, they always asked me why I didn’t have a new car (because my “janked up” mini van was old...) and couldn’t understand how or why I rigidly followed Dave Ramsey... money was to be spent and flaunted (although I really was the kind of rich they wanted to project that they were.)
You could have told them you had loaded up on Disney stock, so every time they went, their money was deposited in your brokerage account.
