That’s 70% more than previously estimated and a total that victims and police say includes dangerous criminals who should stay locked up.

This is the exact opposite of "Broken Glass Policing", but far, far worse.

The principle behind Broken Glass Policing is to get criminals off the street by enforcing any and all laws on the books and not looking the other way. That way, they are off the street for small crimes, and aren't on the street for the larger ones they will commit.

To be effective it requires:

• Increasing enforcement.
  
  
• It takes a lot of time and persistence to take effect, but has been shown to be 100% effective in reducing crime.

So, where are we now?

• Undoing it in a short amount of time by dumping criminals en masse BACK onto the streets with little or no thought or oversight.

Do they have a place to live with family?

They do not have any money because they cannot work...
They cannot buy drugs or alcohol due to NO MONEY.....
They don’t have food...

They don’t have any kind of path back into society
