Someone asks you about Politics just Smile and walk away
The problem is how many companies demand to know as part of “culture fit” and “diversity, equity and inclusion”.
I’ve sat in corporate seminars where they demanded that everyone identify their race, their faith, their sexual orientation, their political views.
It is even more invasive when they do they privilege tests. “Step back if you were raped/sexually assaulted, step back if you were raised by a single mother.” How one was raised and personal experiences shouldn’t be related to one’s job - much less making such baggage PUBLIC to peers.
