I think what Fauci is saying is that it is entirely up to us. If we practice proper public health measures, as we are doing in Arizona, Florida and Texas, we can drop the rate of spread quickly and don’t have to close down.
Based on the data I am seeing at Worldometer, I agree with Fauci.
