I live in NYC and I know NO ONE who was told they won’t be going back to Manhattan as soon as is possible.

It’s ironic

NY and CA support you pathetic moocher red states that take more from the fed than they give but you cry like little girls if they come you way :)

The same people paying for all the stuff in your state that you can’t afford with you 1970s salaries being taxed :)

What a joke some of your economies are. :)

They look like numbers from NY 40 years ago :)

ciao!

When I moved to rural KY it felt like going back in time 50 years, in a lot of very good ways. :)

And thanks to the internet and Amazon, etc., I’m giving up nothing. Also, it was the easiest way to ex-patriate without actually ex-patriating. The people are so nice that I thought they were faking at first. It’s a much better lifestyle, at lest for me. My 38 year old daughter and her husband found the same. That’s why they moved to the state. And no the youngest is looking to move to somewhere like this, except they may choose Tennessee because their income is pretty high and there is no income tax in Tennessee. She even came during some of our most hot, muggy weather and was not the least bit concerned. Weird. They are so tired of Seattle.

I know you are being sarcastic, but I’ve actually had to address that from some leftists. I explain to them that places like California have massive taxes that are deductible from your federal taxes. So it’s actually a backdoor way of getting more federal money into the state. That is, high state taxes, offsetting lower federal taxes.

People are leaving Manhattan. Many are staying in N.Y.. They are buying Houses on LI, westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster. N.Y. is a big, beautiful State. If you move 2 hours away upstate, taxes will be much lower. Little crime and your kids can ride their bikes, go to school. No Deblasio!

Don’t blame the Red states for the job Schumer, Feinstein and
their subordinate lackeys fail to do. They are too busy undermining DJT than to do their real job.

I’ve heard that assertion a few times. Do you have numbers to support it?

You have numbers on that? Real numbers, not ones that include military spending (Federal payee), or stacked numbers that count all the FL retires as payments into the system while working in NY, but counts as payments out when they retire to FL?
