"life safety" and "education". It's always police, fire, and teachers first.

If you depend on your rich uncle sam to help you pay your water bill, you need to re-think your financial strategy.

Cutting police budgets doesn’t motivate voters anymore.

This is your new, lower salary.

The old one will be restored when our revenue streams get back to normal.

I got a 10% salary reduction in 1984 because of the Bell breakup.

Well, they are already defuning police, and the kids are learning from home (two of my grandkids live there). So, what’s the problem?

Give the kids a khanacademy.org account, sell the cop cars at auction, and they’ll be good.

In response to gross financial mismanagement on the part of elected officials, Illinois voters will turn out in greater numbers to vote Democrat.

That will fix it.

Everybody else in the country is taking a budget cut, why shouldn’t they?

It's always police, fire, and teachers first.

When prodded about budget cuts I've had RATs ask me: Well....what are you willing to do without?"

My answer?

Oh, about 90% of your buddies, the do-nothing, overpaid bureaucRATs who actually work on RAT campaigns every other year....

AT THE TAXPAYER'S EXPENSE.

Nope. Open up the state for business or suffer.

Don’t worry, with $1-2 Trilion in further “stimulus” coming, I have no doubt Democrats will make sure a lot of that finds its way into IL teacher’s unions, city workers, and state pension funds.

The politicians are not concerned about the 40 million people who were not gov’t employees losing their jobs because of the democrat party actions.

I hate to see others lose their jobs who did nothing wrong.
I want the democrats party officials though to lose their jobs and homes and all their money.
