"The answer to why we haven't seen it is simple, because Keith Ellison, he's the Attorney General in Minnesota, hid the video from the public. He refused to release the footage."

Keith Maurice Ellison is an American politician and lawyer serving as the 30th Attorney General of Minnesota. A member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, Ellison was the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 5th congressional district from 2007 to 2019.

I'm surprised he didn't hide until about one week before the election.

Saw the video. Clearly Mr. Floyd resisted arrest. However it does not change the fact that while Mr. Floyd was restrained and on the ground, the police officer kept his knee on the guys neck until Mr. Floyd died.

In this case the cop still committed murder. And the other officers are at least guilty of manslaughter if not murder.

He was on the ground on his belly and in cuffs. He wasn’t going anywhere. If I were on the jury and with what we know as evidence i would vote to convict and vote for the death penalty for the cop.

The thing that triggered these riots was the MSM reporting of the Floyd demise and spiking the facts behind his condition at the time. Because of that getting those facts out are desperately needed

The democrat controlled media racist killing reporting was a deliberate miss portraying of the six foot seven inch 200 plus pound Floyd as an innocent black who was being forceably restrained because he was black not because he was resisting arrest. When He was legitimately arrested for passing a counterfeit $20 dollar bill he was resisting arrest and was a threat if not secured. But the media was not mentioning his size or reporting that Floyd was removed from a squad car because he was acting up under the influence of drugs and also later was discovered to have COVID 19. Which suggests his physical condition may have led to his death which the media turned into a murder change and a charge of serious abuse by police because of police efforts that were tried to get him who under control. If Obama had urged blacks to believe in the justice system and comply with the police would we be confronting his use of creating racial division now ?
The results of politically induced miss reporting incidents where blacks have resisted legitimate arrest began to be used earlier during and after the post Zimmmerman trial, then on to the Ferguson episode. Obama’s abuse of the “Bully Pulpit” which seemed to promote resistance to legitimate arrest led to black gangs attacking non blacks found innocently traversing black neighborhoods and to a score of murders or life changing injuries and later attacks of theft and vandalism on local businesses as well as attacks and murders of police officers during that period

Ellison will prosecute the case; Benjmin Crump will represent Floyd’s family!

how come there have been no consequences for Crump over allegations in the amazing documentary by Joel Gilbert - The Trayvon Hoax - especially given the history of BLM and the civil unrest unleashed in recent months?

if you don’t watch all, just watch from around 1h33m in:

Youtube: The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America - film
by Joel Gilbert
By examining Trayvon’s 750-page cell phone records, Gilbert discovers that the key witness for the prosecution of George Zimmerman, the plus-sized 18-year-old Rachel Jeantel, was a fraud. It was in fact a different girl who was on the phone with Trayvon just before he was shot. She was the 16-year-old named “Diamond” whose recorded conversation with attorney Benjamin Crump ignited the public, swayed President Obama, and provoked the nation’s media to demand Zimmerman’s arrest...
After obtaining unredacted court documents and reading Diamond’s vast social media archives, Gilbert then reconstructs the true story of Trayvon Martin’s troubled teenage life and tragic death. In the process, he exposes in detail the most consequential hoax in recent American judicial history, The Trayvon Hoax, that was ground zero for the downward spiral of race relations in America. This incredible film (and book) has the potential to correct American history and bring America back together again.

12 Dec 2019: Orlando Sentinel: George Zimmerman’s ‘appalling’ lawsuit poses legitimate questions: Commentary
By David Whitley
Much of America believes Zimmerman is a racist vigilante. I’m not here to change that view, but the lawsuit raises interesting questions whether the star witness against him was a fraud...
The lawsuit is largely based on the book and documentary “The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America,” by Joel Gilbert...

Crump has ably handled legitimate cases of police brutality. But with Zimmerman, Bell and the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, Crump promoted false narratives, inflamed public opinion and turned defendants into pariahs. All were later cleared by juries and Department of Justice investigations.

I told Gilbert I’d watch the documentary. It was largely based on 750 pages of Martin’s cell phone records Gilbert scoured.
The film contends 16-year-old Brittany Diamond Eugene was on the phone with Martin when he encountered Zimmerman the night of Feb. 26, 2012. Crump was setting her up as the key witness against Zimmerman, but she got scared and didn’t want to testify, according to the film.
So Crump and others, the film contends, convinced 18-year-old Rachel Jeantel to assume the role of her half-sister, Eugene. At the trial, Jeantel testified Zimmerman was the aggressor was on top of Martin as they struggled.

Forensic evidence showed Martin was actually on top of Zimmerman. Martin broke Zimmerman’s nose and smashed his head against the sidewalk.
The witness-switch sounds fantastical, but Gilbert backs his claim with photos, handwriting analysis, a voice recognition test and scores of incriminating tweets and texts. There is also Jeantel’s nearly incomprehensible testimony in a deposition and at trial...

Crump has vehemently denied Gilbert’s allegations. Expect him to file a motion to dismiss it as frivolous.
I don’t know if there was a witness switch. But I know anything that challenges Trayvon hagiography is taboo. And I’m confident 99.9% of the people ripping the documentary haven’t seen it and don’t want anyone else to.
A screening at a Coral Gables theater was canceled amid the social-media backlash. A Miami Herald editorial incorrectly stated Zimmerman used the controversial Stand Your Ground defense...

The Trayvon Martin shooting was a cultural inflection point. Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, is running for Miami-Dade commissioner. She’s among those Gilbert claims committed fraud upon the court...
If Crump, Fulton, Jeantel, Eugene and others testify there was no witness tampering, great. A civil trial will give them a chance to take the stand and tell the truth.
If I had $100 million, I’d bet that’s why Crump will fight to keep that day from ever arriving.

There’s a legal difference between manslaughter & murder. You know that, right?

The reason it took so long for the George Floyd Bodycam Footage to be shown was that it did not fit the narrative the media had designed for it. What it actually turned out to be was a career criminal who never did a decent deed in his life. A hero to the public, a god to the public and members of this forum by the way. An icon to the public along with members of this forum. A god who would have slit any member on this forum’s throat from ear to ear and never batted an eye. A god that robbed pregnant women by sticking a pistol in their belly, yet the devout on this forum wore calluses on their knees paying homage to and worshiping .

according to Wikipedia, Glenn Loury and John McWhorter found the film persuasive, despite their misgivings about the filmmaker...

All those knee pad wearing Freepers who called me the nastiest names you can think of seem to have disappeared now.

From the beginning I said Saint Floyd died from drugs. I was quite surprised that so many Freepers followed along with the garbage put out by the Ministry of Propaganda.

The act of officer chauvin does not rise to the death penalty. One has to have a predetermined plan to get that.
