What is conservatism in America today? It’s hundreds of millions of dollars a year spent fiddling while Rome burns. It’s ideas with little to no consequence. It’s getting trampled all over by History, but while yelling Stop!
Conservatism is the seven cheers for capitalism and the deafening silence on demographic change, feminism, and corporate malfeasance. It’s the same tired cast of speakers blathering about limited government almost a century after the New Deal. It’s the platitudinous Reagan quotes and the worn-out Buckley anecdotes. It’s the mindless optimism and the childish exhortations—if something can’t go on forever, it won’t!

If Trump wins, in 2024, the Republicans will trot out another Bush/McCain/Romney and all the never Trumpers will tell us they are the future....and the Democrats will win...
Trump has shown the Republican Party how to expand the base and grow the party, they will throw it all away and listen to the consultants....
If Trump loses in November, it will be an avalanche, the Never Trumpers will blame it all on Trump and the Democrats are going to do everything they can to ensure their power well into the future.....
We are headed for a showdown, how that turns out is anyone’s guess...

Trump winning is obviously the best outcome in November especially if the Republicans can hold the Senate.
If that happens, Trump can continue the overhaul of the Federal Courts, maybe get 1-2 more Supreme Court picks and be a backstop to any control the Democrats have....

Trump is leading the way. Many others have to step up not only on the national stage, but on local levels too.
First time I heard about Parscale being replaced/demoted, they referred to his replacement as a "long time republican operative". The campaign has gotten a little lamer since then. Three months to go and they don't know where the rnc convention is going to be or what it's going to be like. Governors and Fauci won't let Trump have rallies. He could easily have one in SD. While he may not need to campaign there, many of us watch it on TV or the internet.

The local levels are the key. Look how the Rats have controlled cities and states for decades. Have to cut them off at the knees.
Same here. I am a Conservative, and if the milquetoast GOP succeeds in sandbagging President Trump's re-election I am walking away. Not that it will matter. Once the commies are in power there will be no more elections anyway.

The LEFT does not care if America becomes a pile of rubble as long as they are in charge.
Fiddling.. um no. They are signing massive bills to pay people to stay home.. bringing in hordes of h1bs.. 600,000 in one go round, ensuring that those who believe in the actual words of Jesus can be jailed. More freedoms lost under their watch than i can ever recall. We are being erased under Republican leadership.

Trump was able to pull it off because of his vast wealth. I doubt these young conservatives are equipped in the same way.
