Jury nullification is gonna piss off a lot of activist judges...
You’re wrong, totally wrong.
State of mind under stress is what counts.
All you have to do is bring up Reginald Denny and others who were beaten and killed once their vehicles were stopped by angry mobs.
Just like the guy in Austin did not need to wait for the RevCom with the AK-47 to shoot him, you don’t need to stopped by a mob in your car and wait to be pulled out and beaten.
You just have to have a reasonable fear that you might be shot, or pulled out and beaten.
Self defense all the way.
Exactly. See my above.
ditto, thanks
Excellent idea
Time for a jury of his peers. Put the entire jury in a msimilar situation and let them vote. My guess is that they would find him ‘ not guilty’.
These protesters are literally crazy, they are brainwashed to think that anyone who doesn’t agree with them is a Nazi trying to kill them, so they must attack first.
The antifa leaders pushing this insanity are also encouraging them to swarm cars to create martyrs.
Reports at the time of this occurrence suggested that the driver of the Jeep might have struck a white vehicle. I thought it odd at the time. Now we have eyewitness testimony that the jeep was struck by the white truck - not the other way around.
I wonder what became of the white truck?
I don’t blame him...he should have run over the bastards....then claim he was in fear of his life...which very well might have been!!!
I wonder how those suburban moms feel about being surrounded by violet protesters? Republican political ads could use this effectively to attract their votes.
“True, but you have to prove that is what person B was doing. Or at least that a reasonable man would believe that person B was attempting to prevent retreat and then prove that the deadly force used was proportional to the threat posed by person B. That will be the rub.”
Here’s a riot scenario looked at from laws in southern states.
If person A instigates a riot, and person B participating in the riot kills someone, person A can be be found guilty of murder and executed. They’re called anti-klan laws and have been used to great effect when prosecuting BLM rioters. No rioters have been executed - yet. But they have been given long prison sentences.
And no, you haven’t heard about this because the nazi press embargoed these articles from national release. They don’t want their useful idiots to know that they could face long term incarceration for rioting.
Blue Jeep goes protester bowling scores.
I’ll take my chances and wipe them all out, even if I have to back up and run over them again.
