The kids won’t get sick, and very, very few of their young parents will get sick. Perhaps some of the fat, older teachers will get sick, but there are lots of young people with education degrees and large student loans who work at Starbucks that would be happy to take their places. And if granny is the one that’s really raising the kids, then maybe the kids should be raised by younger adults anyway.
You make it sound like you don’t understand that the creation of wealth allows you to live a life that is much better than just subsistence. If you saw Thursday’s economic report, you’d understand that we’re living off savings and not wealth creation.

Again the whole thing is something to behold all this criticism of public education over the years by conservatives as in social conservatives now they are expected to march in lockstep with the business interests that want the schools to reopen so parents can work.
