I'm really torn on this one. A lot of this depends on the verbal comments that were exchanged.

1. If the woman with the cane was scolding the other one, she should have minded her own damn business.

2. If the other one had simply been verbally scolded by the old one, she could have addressed the situation by either ignoring her or mouthing off from a distance.

Honestly, it's probably not a bad thing if they both end up with broken legs.
