I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday and mentioned jokingly that I believed my “mask was as useless as our governor”(Dem New Mexico). And boy did I get a lecture! Long story short doctor did studies in virology and explaind how useless masks are, how doctors believe the extent of the virus is many times that shown by positive cases and the death rate is about the same as the common flu, and so on. Also saying that colleagues at university hospital think the same way. Very refreshing. And, btw, would love to get a mask that had that quotation on it.
Obviously, not many speaking out because of the cancel culture out there and promotions and even jobs at risk.

As far as an individual spewing their exhaling, yeah, it helps. As far as inhaling. Newsflash. Those virus’ can sneak through 99.9% of the masks. Air tanks with full face SCBA mask should do the trick. Would also satisfy fauci’s comment about wearing goggles. LOL! We just ordered some shields that clip to the ear pieces of our glasses. Smallish but they block your nose and mouth as per the useless gov’s (d-NV) direction. The gov just started the 2nd ‘special session’ of our state legislation. Normal sessions here are for 120 days (Feb-June) of odd number years. Special session this time is supposedly to address “LEO issues”. Probably lowering the ability for them to do their jobs.
I have one for our Texas governor that mandated masks. Says exact wording, “Our governor is about as worthless as this mask” and then has outline of the Great State of Texas
