Here’s some voter protection for you.
Every US citizen is entitled and encouraged to vote, one time, under his own name, in each election. Non-citizens are not entitled to vote.
To assure that entitled voters are properly recognized, every citizen who chooses to vote must properly register with his local voting authority, with sufficient time remaining before the election for verification. There will be no automatic registrations issued with driver licenses or other government documents. ID must be presented and verified. A fingerprint will be part of the documentation. Registration materials will be made readily available.
Anyone double-registering or voting under a name other than his own shall be fined, imprisoned or both.
Absentee ballots shall be issued only upon request and must be received on or before the closing of the polls on election day. The exception will be military ballots which will be valid whenever received.
