Yes, Kass is not really “conservative” but he is much more moderate and tolerable than most on the left.
The funny thing is, one issue that Kass has always been on top of is police abuse of power, long before it became “fashionable” for journalists to cover. Yet, they’ll still hang him out to dry if he steps out of line.
Who is this John Kass? He sounds like some radical that needs to be censored....

That America never really existed. Oh sure if you were in a group that was “in charge” in whatever scope you were dealing you might have THOUGHT you could. But as soon as the power dynamic changed so did that. The only thing that’s really changed now is the people who used to just have to eat it when “in charge” people said stupid stuff have had their fill. In charge just isn’t as in charge as it used to be.
However, the phrase is believed to originate from an essay by Strom first published in 1993: "All America Must Know the Terror that is Upon Us".
