MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis police have identified a suspect in connection to the “Umbrella Man” seen breaking windows and helping to incite a riot during the George Floyd protests. And they say he is a white supremacist.

According to police, the suspect was seen in viral videos breaking glass of the Auto Zone in south Minneapolis on the late afternoon of Wednesday, May 27. Looting and arson incidents started not long after. Until then, the protests were relatively quiet, according to police.

“The actions of this person created an atmosphere of hostility and tension … this individual’s sole aim was to incite violence,” Minneapolis police said.

The suspect is also believed to have spray painted “free s— for everyone zone” on the front doors of the Auto Zone.

For weeks, attempts to identify the suspect have been unsuccessful. That is until a tip was emailed to Minneapolis police in July.

The tip identified the “Umbrella Man” as a 32-year-old man who is a member of the Hell’s Angels and wanted to “sow discord and racial unrest” by breaking the windows and spray painting what he did.

Police confirmed that the man is a member of the Hell’s Angels and an associate of the Aryan Cowboys, which is a known prison gang out of Minnesota and Kentucky. The suspect is also believed to be involved in a recent incident in Stillwater where a Muslim woman claimed she was racially harassed by biker gang members wearing Aryan Cowboys vests.

According to police, the man has a striking resemblance to the “Umbrella Man” including facial features and height.

The Democrats are clearly stoking racial animosity for electoral advantage, and the LSM will not call them out on it.

Umbrella Man was seen on the Grassy Knoll beside Auto Zone. If these Minnesotans get any further off in their own heads, we’re going to need to fortify our border with them. Maybe require drug screens and brain scans for anyone wanting to come in.

Usually they fall all over themselves to use a fake legal term person of interest. Now this person bears just a vague resemblance and he’s a suspect. Funny how they go back to the original term of suspect when it’s a white guy

The media/dem complex was pushing the “white supremacist” hoax early in the rioting. I see they are circling back to that. I suspect the police are playing along as a way to curry favor with the loons who want to eliminate them altogether.

Yep. A continuation of the Left’s unspoken racist meme that black rioters lack “agency” (the ability to formulate and act on their own plans). So they have to be led (like lost sheep). Amazing how all these peaceful protesters did nothing to STOP this criminal from tainting the purity of their demonstration. It is also amazing how eagerly they other “peaceful protestors” joined it - all over the city and in multiple cities across the country. That umbrella guy sure gets around.

Maybe he did it, maybe not. If he did, and it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law, he should be punished.

What happens to the journalist if this turn out to be a deliberately false report?

“Oops! My bad. Let’s talk about something else. Look! Squirrel!”
