MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis police have identified a suspect in connection to the “Umbrella Man” seen breaking windows and helping to incite a riot during the George Floyd protests. And they say he is a white supremacist.
According to police, the suspect was seen in viral videos breaking glass of the Auto Zone in south Minneapolis on the late afternoon of Wednesday, May 27. Looting and arson incidents started not long after. Until then, the protests were relatively quiet, according to police.
“The actions of this person created an atmosphere of hostility and tension … this individual’s sole aim was to incite violence,” Minneapolis police said.
The suspect is also believed to have spray painted “free s— for everyone zone” on the front doors of the Auto Zone.
For weeks, attempts to identify the suspect have been unsuccessful. That is until a tip was emailed to Minneapolis police in July.
The tip identified the “Umbrella Man” as a 32-year-old man who is a member of the Hell’s Angels and wanted to “sow discord and racial unrest” by breaking the windows and spray painting what he did.
Police confirmed that the man is a member of the Hell’s Angels and an associate of the Aryan Cowboys, which is a known prison gang out of Minnesota and Kentucky. The suspect is also believed to be involved in a recent incident in Stillwater where a Muslim woman claimed she was racially harassed by biker gang members wearing Aryan Cowboys vests.
According to police, the man has a striking resemblance to the “Umbrella Man” including facial features and height.

Go back and review the Charlie Manson ‘doctrine’. All he wanted was racial unrest, chaos, and civil war. It wouldn’t surprise me if various gangs engaged in the drug trade were motivated to go create a ‘defund-the-police’ situation in major cities...to lessen the risk to their profits.

Well, I’ve seen video of the rioting. If it’s a white supremacist project, I’d say that the white supremacists are celebrating a lot of diversity these days.

I love it when some act of violence goes down and the police refuse to charactarize the act as terrorism when it involves certain minorities. Or when other "peaceful demonstrators" stage a break-in and the politicians opine that they "did it because they were poor & hungry."
MPD police investigators may actually be pursuing this theory, but to release it without an arrest just makes everybody look silly. They just appear to be doing the bidding of hapless Mayor Frey.
So first time in history a mob of ghetto blacks, during one of their many neighbprhood destroying riots throughout history, broke into a liquor store, looted the inventory and burned it down during one of their riots because they saw a white dude break a window. Now, that is what I call a tortured fake journal news narrative to lay blame on white riot privilege.
Seem there was always someone with an umbrella- maybe antifa was supposed to follow their lead?
Also, thought that the umbrella man was already ID’d as an antifa member.
It’s long been known that Hell’s Angles prefer using umbrellas at their rumbles. And they also usually show up to the rumble alone. Everyone knows this, right?
