Tucker Carlson: Political violence is an attack on America itself
Fox News ^ | July 28, 2020 | Tucker Carlson

Posted on 07/28/2020 4:58:16 PM PDT by MinorityRepublican

You can tell a lot about a society by what shocks its leaders. For generations, what shocked the people in charge of this country was political violence, hurting your neighbors for having different opinions. They were appalled by that and they were right to be.

Political violence isn't simply an assault on individual Americans, it's an attack on America itself. In this country, we govern by consent, not by force. People with guns don't make our laws, voters do.

You may have a Glock in your hand, but on Election Day, you have precisely as many votes as the little old lady who disagrees with you. That's our system. The weak are supposed to have as much power over the government as the strong, and that is the basis of our equality as Americans, something that we should cherish and protect.

Political parties using violence against their political opponents is basically fascism.

Anyone remember that peaceful occupation in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge?

Sure they were armed, but truly peaceful. They weren’t trying to burn buildings down etc.

If Trump is considered a “NAZI” for sending in Feds to protect Federal property in Portland and other cities, then so too should obama/biden be considered “NAZI”

Remind people of this...make comments on Huff and Puff and on news sites like CNN

“ Armed group’s leader in federal building: ‘We will be here as long as it takes’

Dr. Marc Siegel has jumped the shark!! He just said on Tucker that “the science right now is not behind hydroxychloroquine.” He was citing two new articles just published by the New England Journal of Medicine and Annals of Internal Medicine. He said now is not the right time to listen to anecdotal claims of efficacy.

but Siegel has no problem with the vaccines.

Statista: Covid deaths per million worldwide as of July 28, 2020
#1 Belgium (HOME OF THE EUROPEAN UNION) 859.91 per million
#71 India 24.7 per million

15 July: Indian Express: Experts Explain: The case for using hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to treat Covid-19
Hydroxychloroquine is obviously not a panacea for severe cases of Covid-19. Given early, it helps reduce mortality by about half, compared to those not given the drug.
by M S Seshadri, T. Jacob John
(Dr Seshadri is retired Professor of medical endocrinology, Christian Medical College, Vellore and currently Director, Thirumalai Mission Hospital Ranipet. Dr John is retired Professor of Clinical Virology, CMC, Vellore and Past President of Indian Academy of Pediatrics)

A study on more than 2,500 patients in six units under the Henry Ford Hospitals group in Detroit, Michigan, USA, peer-reviewed, accepted and ready for publication in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases, has found good evidence that HCQ reduces Covid-19 mortality significantly. It should be noted that conditions apply...

The story of HCQ and Covid-19 began in Wuhan, China, where patients who were on HCQ, attending rheumatology clinics, seemed to be relatively protected from serious Covid-19 than those attending other clinics. Looking for possible treatment options, Chinese physicians stumbled on HCQ . So they began using HCQ empirically for treating Covid-19...

French physicians, familiar with HCQ used against an endemic bacterial disease called Q fever, followed up with scientific studies for seeking objective evidence for HCQ use in Covid-19. There was laboratory evidence that HCQ acts against SARS coronavirus type 1 and, more recently, also against type 2 that causes Covid-19. The French reported that HCQ reduced both the viral load and duration of virus shedding in the upper respiratory tract of Covid-19 patients...

The Detroit study has swung the pendulum all the way back, favourable to HCQ use in Covid-19. If the scientific evidence from France was for reduction of viral load in the upper respiratory tract, was it not likely that it reflected a reduction of viral load in all other infected body tissues also?...

HCQ is obviously not a panacea for severe cases of Covid-19. Given early, it helps reduce mortality by about half, compared to those not given HCQ. In India the drug is widely available and not expensive. A number of Indian states have already incorporated a short course of HCQ in their Covid-19 treatment protocol, and states that have not done so will do well to implement this quickly.

Two other therapies for mortality reduction are a short course of dexamethasone and convalescent plasma. Indian physicians have a golden opportunity to use the three modalities in sequence – dexamethasone in those who do not improve with early use of HCQ and convalescent plasma for those who do not improve with dexamethasone. The outcome of this treatment sequence will inform the medical community how to save many lives.

Yes he is. I remember when he was on CNN and I couldn't get past what I thought was his smarmy attitude and his gay bow-tie.

Just wow. Was I wrong. I freely admit it.

Siegel never mentioned it taken with Zinc and the Z pack. Maybe alone, it’s not as helpful, but with the combo, it is.

still no word of an arrest:

28 Jul: Fox 6: Concerned Riverwest shooting was ‘politically motivated,’ community calls for federal investigation
by Hannah Jewell
Those who knew him believe he may have been killed because of his support for President Donald Trump...
“If that means we’ve got to bring the federal prosecutor in, so be it,” said Pastor Jerome Smith, Sr. with Greater Praise Church of God in Christ. “We got to bring them in. The reason we really need to be bringing them in is not to come in here and run rampant. We need to bring them in to get to the bottom of it and get to the facts.”

The Republican Party of Wisconsin is also asking the U.S. attorney to open an investigation.
“If it was politically motivated, OK, let’s deal with it,” said Smith. “If it wasn’t, let’s get that off the table.”
FOX6 News on Tuesday reached out to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Milwaukee, but were told they would not comment on the status of criminal investigations...

Yes, if the studies used HCQ alone, they likely didn’t produce the results of the triple combination.

Tucker Carlson is a breath of fresh air. He is thoughtful, logical and has a following among thinking people from all walks of life.
Political violence is an effort to destroy America. It is anarchy. It is tragic that so many Democrat local, state and federal officials want to defund the police and seem to approve of the actions of the violent rioters. Why do they hate America?

My Mother in law, age 75, was a liberal all her life. Her first GOP vote was for Trump. She is still “pro choice” but finally realized the dems offered nothing for her white, male, middle class grandchildren.

She was a member of SDS in the 60’s and now watches Tucker Carlson nightly! She’s a huge fan.

I saw him speak in person 2 years ago; he has so much common sense. And my 14 year old daughter loved “Ship of Fools.”—made her a conservative i think.
