News feeds online have filled up with photos of used personal protective equipment strewn about on sidewalks, streets and other public areas.
And beyond the obvious environmental impact, there's a larger concern that the once-worn items have touched contaminated surfaces and could pose a biohazard threat for those who eventually clean them up.
"Gloves protect you against contact with infectious materials. However, once contaminated, gloves can become a means for spreading infectious materials to yourself, other patients or environmental surfaces," the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in its PPE guidance.
The World Health Organization has said people are better off washing and sanitizing their hands than using plastic gloves because bacteria and germs that stick to gloves could be spread to another person.

So we are back to square one again. No mask, no gloves, just wash your hands.
It’s damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
Proper disposal of single use gloves is the appropriate answer.
Using the same pair of gloves all day, or even multiple days, poses a greater risk of cross-contamination that throwing single use gloves into a properly lined trash bin.
If they go in the garbage....there is no host and the bugs will die and no one will get infected. And it’s about 99% that there’s no bugs to start with.
We call those places "protests"
Meanwhile liberal politicians dont give a damn about the homeless dumping used needles everywhere.
I think trying to pry those suckers on and off will expose you pretty well to whatever may be on ‘em.

Thing is anyplace you shop the parking lot is littered with gloves and masks....
Next the marxist governors will want federal money to help clean up landfills contaminated with masks and gloves.
Well I’ll continue to wear the disposable gloves and trash them as I’ve been doing before I reach my vehicle. At this point it’s pretty much every person for themselves as far as I’m concered.....do what you want to protect or not yourself.
But re-using the same mask for days is good for you, right?
You should just stay at home all the time.
