Canadians who come down here to achieve professional success and then go on to deliver finger-wagging political lectures to us are a particular pet peeve of mine.
You can add ‘comic’ Jim Carey and movie director (Sausage Party) Seth Rogen to that list.
Add to that, Haitians, Cubans, people from the Doominican Republic etc who come here to play baseball than take a knee at OUR national anthem.

I have family there, and I can assure you, many Canadians define themselves to a large degree by the fact that they have universal health care and gun control, and that we don’t (at least to the same degree). There is a lot of jealousy and bitterness and unjustified moral superiority.
