Now we have Twitter, Facebook, and their ilk deciding which doctor's opinions on medical treatments the public should be able to see. Somehow it is hard to see that as the legitimate activity of a platform provider, but much more like the behavior of a publisher seeking to establish a point of view.

I don't see how the typical first amendment arguments can be logically applied to an organization which seeks to control the flow of information about medical treatments. Would it be OK for Facebook to only allow postings which supported a particular drug manufacturer?
