Riots broke out again this weekend from coast to coast, with violence and vandalism damaging more of urban America. Democrats and their media allies insist these are largely peaceful protests, so it’s worth examining what really happened.
On Saturday in Seattle, protesters gathered outside the juvenile court and detention facility, set fire to portable trailers, and smashed the windows of nearby cars and businesses. An explosive device gashed an eight-inch hole in the side of the Seattle Police Department’s East Precinct, and rioters threw fireworks, stones and other projectiles at law enforcement.
“In all 59 officers were injured throughout the day with one of those being hospitalized,” the police department reported, and “injuries ranged from abrasions and bruising to burns and a torn meniscus.”
Similar scenes unfolded in Portland as rioters tried to tear down the fence surrounding the Hatfield Federal Courthouse. Demonstrators threw Molotov cocktails Friday night, and after midnight one federal officer took “a direct hit from a commercial grade firework,” another “was hit with a mortar firework,” and a third “was struck in the head with a mortar firework,” the Department of Homeland Security says. Peaceful?
DHS says some 5,000 or 6,000 returned to the scene on Sunday, threw smoke bombs and launched “a roughly 10-minute-long continuous firework attack against the courthouse.” DHS says at least 20 federal officers sustained injuries in Portland.
In Louisville, Ky., a black militia that calls itself the “Not F— Around Coalition” lived up to its name Saturday when a member discharged a gun and accidentally struck three compatriots, causing non-life-threatening injuries. In Oakland, Calif., rioters set fires downtown Saturday night, including at the Alameda County Superior Courthouse.

What if these were foreign terrorists attacking our government buildings? They would be shot without hesitation. Why do we have to tolerate these domestic terrorists? They have no first amendment right to set buildings on fire, block roads and attack drivers in their cars, and attack the lawful authorities.

Portland destruction and burning plus blinding of three officers and severe injuries have been going on for over 60 days. This time "the revolution will be televised" despite the old Gil Scott Heron poem of the 60s.
It should be on TV, but there is very little coverage.
We got live feeds of the “Arab Spring” riots in Cairo — but there’s no live coverage of the anarchists rioting in Portland.

Yes. Why must domestic terrorists be tolerated? Gov. and mayor should call out the national guard, but they are supporting the anarchists.
I just though to this, although it is so obvious that many must have mentioned it before, and I missed it:
One reason these leftist Mayors and Governors are trying to force everyone to stay home, is that they don’t want their constituents out on the streets to see the actual destruction, or worse, be assaulted by ANTIFA / #BLM.
That might turn a bunch of them into Republican voters. Can’t allow that to happen, so keep them locked in, and feed them lies through a co-conspiratorial media.

Police could easily handled these thugs... democrat mayors are STOPPING the police. Mayors want federal police out of their cities because they can’t FORCE federal troop to stand down.
Democrats are raising the stakes... They’ll be announcing soon that IF you don’t want your city to burn vote Biden.
