Courage
John Lewis was civil to Donald Trump?
This week-long funeral is ridiculous.
When he died a week ago, that already took over the news cycle for 48 hours.
Now we have a weeklong casket tour.
No win situation for President Trump. Probably better off in not attending. Vice President Pence should attend. If not him, maybe one of secretaries.

How about the Secretary of Bull Excrement?
Good on Trump.
If he doesn’t go, he’s criticized... If he does go, he’s criticized.
You can’t beat the marxist game.
To paraphrase Andrew Cuomo. He was never that great....
Lets see. Lewis called Trump an illegitimate President. Refused to attend Trumps inauguration, etc.... Lewis obviously would not want him there. Why on earth is Trump not attending be considered news?
Good bold move!
Lewis didn’t have the sense to attend PDJT’s inauguration and was just another one of the so-called civil rights leaders who couldn’t or wouldn’t acknowledge that Donald Trump has truly championed equality throughout his life!!
Trump needs to do something much more useful, such as changing the air in his tires.
Maybe he could send Stephen Miller.....
And thousands of US citizens were not allowed to visit dying relatives or be present at a funeral!
Another thing the President and Fireone have in common! It’s uncanny, I tell you!

To spite him. But that is probably a little obvious. Its best he stay away.
A filthy loud-mouthed racist from the word go. Too bad there’s all this worship of this nasty man.
> John Lewis was civil to Donald Trump? <
He was not. Lewis boycotted Trumps inauguration back in January of 2017. That was a low-class and rude thing to do on Lewis part.
But I think the old adage do not do what your enemy wants you to do applies here. Lewis, for all his faults, was a civil rights icon. The Democrats would love to have Trump appear to slight him. Therefore, Trump should have gone, payed his respects briefly, and then left.
Do not do what the Democrats want you to do.
